My Joined Family Tree Sets are groups of bowls that are all made from two or more woods, but the wood from each species comes from the same tree. Each piece has characteristics that make it unique, yet they all carry core traits that are consistent across the group.

Each bowl starts with freshly cut (“green”) log slabs that are dried and cut into round slices, then built up into a multi-layered blank. This is turned on the lathe to its final shape and finished with food-safe friction polish.
